List of Australian Magento Stores
Magento is popular in Australia.
Here is a list of Australian Magento stores that I built up a little while ago, just as a reference. This list is a few months old, there are probably more aussie magento stores active now.
I don’t intend to actively maintain this list, but if you come across any other good sites, then please add a comment below.

Bernard, thanks for the comments. As I said in the post, ‘I don’t intend to actively maintain this list’, I simply did a search at the time to see how many stores I could find, a good indicator back then of the takeup of Magento. Yes, there will be some stores that have disappeared, but a lot more that will now be active.
If you want to look for some larger players, maybe http://www.bigbrownbox.com.au would interest you. Lots of traffic to that one.
The first one on the list isn’t a magento site, try homedesignplus.com.au, they sell Bathoom vanities and bathtubs
Our website has been operating on Magento since August 2008, migrated from oscommerce which we ran on since 2006/7…have to say its the most flexible e commerce tools we have used for our business, especially using multistores, we run two seperate stores.
Highly recommend.

Matt,
Thats the biggest ‘Add to Cart’ button I have ever seen! :) Have you A/B tested its performance?
Hi
We launched our Sexy Lingerie & Corset website in Jan 2010. Where using magento and couldn’t be happier.
We have done heaps of work to our template and our customers love it.
Check it out http://www.junglespice.com.au
Hi Nathan – great to happen upon your blog ;-)
Thought I’d throw our Magento sites in as well for the list:
http://wholesale.floriculture.com.au (since July 2009)
http://flowerubnch.com.au (since November 2009)
http://diyblooms.com.au (from June 2010)
With more to come, Magento has been a good thing, having switched from a zencart wholesale store, we are now starting to roll out multiple niche websites with the multi-store functionality built into magento – have to see how many we can hang off the one install and still have all the extensions work ;-)

3 out of 6 links I tried were not operational.
You should update your list, or choose more prominent operators using Magento
