Automated warehouse systems – fascinating!
I love seeing how the ‘big boys’ do warehousing. Think sites in the US like Zappos.com. Over $1b in sales, millions of SKUs. How do they ship orders out to customers within 4 hrs of ordering? They use a warehouse system like this one, from Kiva : Kiva Systems Demo. Cool!
