eBay Announces Fee Changes & More for US/UK/DE
Great news, eBay has announced the rumoured site changes and fee changes for 2008. Bad news for Aussies, these changes are initially for US/UK/DE markets it seems…
Scott from ChannelAdvisor has been taking notes and blogging from the eBay conference in the USA about is (thanks Scot!)
The brief summary:
- FREE gallery pics
- Final Value fees increase (for auction and store items)
- Insertion fees decrease (for auction and store items)
- Powerseller status now also depends on Detailed Seller Rating scores
- Fee Discounts for Powersellers!
- If your 30-day DSRs are at 4.6+, you get 5% FVF discount (based off of 30-day rolling DSRs)
- If your 30-day DSRs are at 4.8+, you get 15% FVF discount (based off of 30-day rolling DSRs)
- With BestMatch search, Powersellers will get more exposure
- Seller Dashboard will be rolled out so you have a better view and understanding of your seller account status (DSRs etc)
- Some improvements to the feedback system are rolled out too.
