What will you change in 2008?
Happy New Year everyone. I really hope you had a great 2007 for business, and that your Christmas and New Year relaxed you and gave you some preparation time for a huge 2008!
2008 will bring some big changes to eBay’s pricing model, and search, and this will affect sellers in some pretty big ways. And in the local market, new competition to eBay may arrive from another established online media company.
Our online retail business will continue it’s push away from eBay. To do this we will be using some different pricing and auction strategies on eBay than we have in the past. It is definitely time for us to try different strategies, given the state of eBay in Australia and the competitiveness in many of the categories.
Also this year, we will work harder on our online store offerings, looking at some better technologies that will allow us to sell more profitably, more easily, and with better features from our shoppers.
We will also be looking at some different ways to leverage our eBay business knowledge too.
