11,000 containers on ONE ship?

Today I read about the Emma Maersk, a PS class container ship of the Maersk shipping company. It has a 5 storey high 14 cylinder engine producing over 100,000 horsepower, and can carry 11,000 x 20 foot containers.

These days, other people can do the work for you!

Never has it been as easy as it is to start a website or blog as it is now. There are multitudes of products available to create anything from a simple web page to a blog, or a full blown content management system, and many of them are excellent (and more importantly FREE!)

Is a .com domain worth $400k USD for your .com.au business?

Recently at the Moniker’s Domain name auction (which I mentioned here), the domain carsales.com was purchased for a tidy sum of $400,000 USD. Not a bad price I thought.

Do you as an eBay seller, also buy a lot of products on eBay?
I don’t! eBay is probably the last place I would look to buy a product. I an talking about new products here, not used. I think my eBay business has sold over 70,000 products in the last few years, but I realised [...]

eBay Australia has a conga line and wants you to be part of it! Its true, you can even upload your face, and when you appear (dancing merrily along behind and in front of other strangers) people can mouse over you and see who you are.

eBay. Loved and Loathed

Consumers are fascinated and intrigued by eBay. eBay sellers mention the website they sell on to possible suppliers, and supplirs go running in the other direction! When is it all going to change? Is it going to change at all?
