I must admit that I am quite surprised to see such a long list given the complexity of deploying a Magento store. It makes me wonder how many people actually evaluate the various ecommerce options before making a selection. Quite a few sites on the list appear as though they could quite easily be implemented by e-commerce engines which are easier to customise and configure.

Great stuff guys, we love Magento too. Your site is really nice too, but the My Account links are hard to read? Perhaps use a darker font colour?

With more to come, Magento has been a good thing, having switched from a zencart wholesale store, we are now starting to roll out multiple niche websites with the multi-store functionality built into magento – have to see how many we can hang off the one install and still have all the extensions work ;-)

Our website has been operating on Magento since August 2008, migrated from oscommerce which we ran on since 2006/7…have to say its the most flexible e commerce tools we have used for our business, especially using multistores, we run two seperate stores.

Highly recommend.
